One Day Private Photo Tours
Yangon, Bagan, Saigon, Jakarta,
Inspired by the great success of our day photo tours for cruise ship traveler excursions to Yangon, we decided to open this wonderful opportunity up to the general traveling public. We realize not everyone has the time to take a full country photo tour, so why not offer one day photo tours to show off the photogenic wonders of Yangon, Bagan, Saigon, Jakarta, Mumbai and Delhi?
Photographing these places with top flight local professional photographers (professional fixer in Bagan) (see biographies here) makes all the difference in the world, whether you are an advanced, intermediate or novice shooter. Obviously those with more to learn will learn more, but everyone benefits from the superb local knowledge of light and locations, as well as inside access that is not afforded the average tourist. While these are mostly free shooting situations, your photographer will also do several arranged shoots with local impromptu models.
“I can highly recommend my experience with Luminous Journeys Photo Tours. (Day tours in Yangon and Bagan). From start to finish the service was efficient, reliable and beyond expectations. The two photographer guides/fixers I was lucky enough to have (Soe Myanmar in Yangon and Aung Aung in Bagan) were great, and I couldn’t have asked for more professional people to help me get the most out of my photography in Myanmar. I look forward to booking with them again and would highly recommend Luminous Journeys Photo Tours to anyone considering it.” – Georgia Darlow, England

More Praise LJ’s One Day Photo Tour Photographers
“I had the great pleasure of spending a day with Soe Myanmar in Yangon on a day photo tour. It was a fantastic experience! Her enthusiasm for Yangon and street photography was infectious, and with the locals being so open and friendly, Yangon was the perfect place. I got great photos with her help and I would highly recommend her as a guide for anyone, beginner to pro. And if there is anything really specific you want to see, make sure you ask her as she will definitely go that extra mile to help you find it!” – Bruce Furmedge, Australia
“Thank you for the magnificent day tour in Yangon with Boothee – I really enjoyed myself and got some great shots! I managed to see more in one day with your tour than I did in 2 days by myself.” – Marie Moncrief, France
“Recently I had a wonderful opportunity to spend one-on-one time with a very talented women photographer, Soe Myanmar. Our time was spent photographing Yangon and surrounding rural towns and villages. She has a wonderful way of looking at and simplifying images to create memorable pictures. I feel very lucky that our paths have crossed and loved our time together photographing the beautiful country of Myanmar.” ~ William Gordon, Los Angeles CA

“Since attending a Luminous Journeys photo tour in Myanmar with A.P. Soe, I’ve become so passionate about photography that I started traveling more, trying to apply the valuable techniques I learnt during the tour. People who see my photos sometimes ask me if I’m a professional photographer. This is how much AP helped me improve! I am very grateful to AP for that but also for being such a nice person and friend, it really made the photo tour an absolutely memorable experience that I keep building on day after day.” — Eddie Hui-Bon-Hoa, France
“AP, what a star he is… Travelling and photographing the beauty and heritage of this fabulous country with him was an experience I will never forget. His enthusiasm and passion for both craft and country were never-ending… I learned so much just from watching how he set up for a shot and brought his vision to life. Throughout the tour he would go to any lengths (including lending lenses!) to make sure everyone captured great shots… A.P. Soe is without a doubt the friendliest, happiest photo tour leader I have ever had the pleasure of photographing with… I cannot wait to chase the light with him again soon. I will certainly recommend his photo tours to anyone I know. An amazing experience.” — Richard Cawthra, United Kingdom
